The impacts of population aging to Chinese economy
Abstract: the population aging in China is increasingly severe and drawing plenty of attentions currently, which will have broad economic consequences for our nation, particularly for savings, labor force, industrial structure and government finance.

Introduction
The problem of the aging population is recognized as one of the top three social problems in the 21th century, and this demographic trend has e a major headache for our country as well. According to United Nations Educational, Scientific, and anization, one country enters an aging society when the number of 65 years old or more is no less than 7% of the total number. In 2010, statistics from the sixth national population census of the people’s republic of China indicate that citizens over 65 years old in China amount to % of the total number, approximately 120 million in absolute number.
