RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Method development for non-traditional stable isotopes
• Established the method for measuring Cu position in granites (Nu Plasma
MC-ICP-MS, Macquarie University)
• Established, from scratch, the chemical procedure and mass spectrometry for Mg isotope
measurement (IsoProbe MC-ICP-MS, University of Wisconsin – Madison)
Application of laser-ablation technique in analysis of non-traditional stable isotopes
• Established the method for in situ measurement of Cu position in sulfides using a
nano-second laser (Macquarie University)
• Currently involved in setting up the method for in situ analysis of Fe isotopes using a
femto-second laser (University of Wisconsin – Madison)
