武当山,古名太和山,位于湖北省十堰市境内,景区总面积312平方公里。武当山是我国著名的道教圣地、太极拳的发祥地、国家重点风景名胜区,国家森林公园、国家地质公园、全国十大避暑圣地,1994年武当山古建筑群被列入《国家非物质文化遗产名录》。
武当山概况
Wudang Mountains, the ancient name of Taihe mountain, is located in Shiyan city of Hubei Province, covers a total area of 312 square kilometers. Wudang Mountains is a famous Taoist holy land, Taijiquan birthplace, key national scenic area, national Forest Park, National Geologic Park, the ten major summer resort, ancient plex of Wudang Mountains in 1994 was included in the "national intangible cultural heritage list".
