White Fang is a hybrid. His mother Kiche is half-dog and half-wolf who was brought up by humans. His father One-eye is a wolf. Kiche was escaped from humans. She gave birth to five cubs with One-eye, but four of them was starved to death, except White Fang.
Then One-eye was killed by lynx. Kiche and White Fang fought with the lynx, and Kiche’s master Grey Beaver caught them. He took Kiche away, and White Fang had never seen her again. White Fang fought with the leader of Grey’s dogs, Lip-lip, and beat him. White Fang became the leader.
Grey soon got to Fort Yukon with White Fang. Many people let their dogs attack White Fang, and White Fang was strong enough to beat all of them. Beauty Smith, who loved the dog fights more than any other, wanted to get White Fang. He tricked Grey into selling White Fang.
Smith tormented White Fang to motivate his ferity. Then made him fight with other dogs and powerful animals to earn money, and White Fang beat all of them. White Fang was called ‘The Fighting Wolf’. Then one day a gambler called Tim Keenan, who owned the
