科学技术在军事上的运用是推动军事变革和发展的主要因素。20世纪70年代以来兴起的信息技术革命正在引发一场新的军事革命,势不可挡地推动着世界军事的发展,特别是当今信息技术领域发展最快、最活跃的多媒体技术在军事上的广泛应用,使武器威力倍增,在一定程度上大大地提高了军队的指挥、作战和训练水平,成为军事信息革命的新热点。文章主要对其在军事情报和资料的分析与显示、C3I系统、军事模拟仿真训练等几个方面的主要作用进行了简要的分析。

Abstract:Science technology is the main factor which impulses the transformation and development of military affairs when it is applied on military affairs. The revolution of information technology is arousing a new revolution on military affairs that advances the development of military affairs inevitably, especially multimedia technology as the most actively and rapidly-developed one , is widely applied on military affairs. Multimedia technology enhances the power of weapons and improved the ability mand , fight and the level of training by a long way. It has been ing the new hotspot of information revolution. The paper analysis simply some main subjects that multimedia technology is applied on military affairs such as the analysis and show of the intelligence and information , the system of C3I and the training of simulation and so on.

随着科学技术的飞速发展,计算机技术在各行各业中得到普遍应用,随之人类进入了一个崭新的多媒体时代,其在军事上的应用也正在成为军事信息革命的新热点。“军事多媒体牵引技术的发展”是世界各主要军事强国的一项长期的政策,目前多媒体在军事上的主要作用是缩短用户与计算机之间的距离,提高最终用户的使用能力,其在部队的作战、训练和武器装备管理等方面日益显现出它的重要作用。
