内容提要:情景教学法是 20 年代至 60 年代英国著名应用语言学家帕尔默和霍恩比等创
立的英语教学法。情景语言教学法的目的是教语言的听,说,读,写四种基本技能。这一点
和大多数语言教学法的目标是一致的,但这种技能的获得是通过结构的练习而达到的。它强
调语言在情景中得运用,使学生更有效的在生动,有趣的学习情景中学习单词。情景教学法
采取一系列演示方法来教单词。它既不通过母语的翻译,也不通过目标语言来解释,而是通
过在一种特定的情景中使用的方式和形式来解释。本文对新莲小学和百花小学的五十名师生
进行了关于情景教学法在小学英语单词中的调查。通过调查,我们初步了解情景教学法在福
田区小学英语单词中的具体运用情况。此外,我们进一步了解师生对情景教学法的态度以及
一些影响情景教学法的因素。

Introduction
Vocabulary is one of the three important elements of language. It is impossible for students to
learn English well without vocabulary. Especially when the learners begin to study English at the
beginning, the new words and structures seem to be dull for them. What’s worse is that teachers
have been paying little attention to techniques for helping students to learn vocabulary for many
years. Because some textbooks suggest that students could learn all the words without help, and
teachers should not teach vocabulary before students master the grammar and the sound system of
the language. Vocabulary has been neglected in programs for teachers during much of the
twentieth century. In fact, there is no conflict between mand of grammar and learning the
essential words. Neither grammar nor vocabulary should be neglected in the best classes. Lexical
problems frequently interfere munication; people municate with each other
when they don’t use the right words. Therefore, vocabulary plays a significant role in language
teaching and we should value it in our classes.
