摘要
城市圈(群)是由地域上集中分布的若干大城市和特大城市集聚而成的庞大
的、多核心、多层次城市集团,是大都市区的联合体。其实质是由各等级城市形
成的相互串连、高度集中的中心经济地带。城市圈(群)是区域经济发展的一个
实体,是区域经济空间组织的重要载体。武汉城市圈地处中国中西部的结合部,
它位于长江流域的中部,中部五省(河南、安徽、江西、湖北、湖南)的中心位
置,这种“中部之中”的综合区位优势使得它成为东连“长三角”、南接“珠三
角”、西依大三峡、北承大中原的桥梁和纽带,起着承东启西、贯通南北的独特
作用。它的发展将成为推动湖北地区、我国华中地区以及长江流域快速发展的一
支重要生力军,对于“中部崛起”具有重大的战略意义,能够成为带动中部地区
崛起的增长极和龙头。本文共分四章:第一章绪论叙述了选题的缘由和相关文献、
研究内容和意义、研究的方法与创新之处;第二章阐释了城市圈的概念及发展阶
段,概述了城市圈的基本理论,包括增长极理论、城市体系理论、城市经济圈理
论,论述了发展城市圈经济的重要意义;第三章研究了武汉城市圈发展过程和特
点,分析了武汉城市圈经济发展的态势和面临的问题;第四章是本文研究的重点,
论述了武汉城市圈经济发展的对策,即交通运输一体化、市场一体化、产业一体
化、科技创新一体化、服务业一体化等“五个一体化”问题。本文认为这些对策
或建议为武汉城市圈成为促进中部地区崛起的增长极提供了一些思路,对武汉城
市圈经济发展将有一定的指导价值。
