片段存储系统:基于 P2P 的网络存储服务
摘要
现今,P2P(Peer-to-Peer,对等)网络变得越来越流行,其中大多数
应用都基于非结构化 P2P 网络。而另一方面, 中数据内容爆炸性
增长使人们对于网络存储系统提出了更高的要求。因此,相对于非结构
化的 P2P 网络,结构化 P2P 网络更适于用来构建现代网络存储系统。这
些结构化的 P2P 网络通常都基于分布式哈希表(Distributed Hash Table,
DHT),具有可扩展性好等特点。
本文提出的片段存储系统(Segment Storage System,简称 S3)基于结
构化的 P2P 网络模型,并且具有高可用性、高可靠性与高持久性。在 S3
中,文件被分割成许多片段,一个文件的所有片段被分布在多个在网络
位置上相近的共享节点上。运用一些巧妙的策略,S3 将片段索引和节点
定位信息整合到一起,片段数据储存在 DHT 中,使用创新而高效的路由
算法使用户能够方便的定位到需要下载或上传的文件。由于 S3 的寻址方
式隐含了节点位置信息,用户使用 put/get 原语操作就可获得传输过程中
的高带宽和高速度。更进一步,对于存储系统中必需的备份和恢复操作,
S3 通过自身的本质特性就可以方便地实现,而无需额外的操作和开销。
S3 延续了 P2P 网络的优点并且摒弃了 P2P 网络临时性和不稳定性等缺陷。

的基本操作。本文还将 S3 的性能与传统网络存储系统、现代网络存储系
统及 P2P 文件共享系统的性能作分析和比较,以此证明 S3 在性能方面的
优越性。

SEGMENT STORAGE SYSTEM: A PEER-TO-PEER
WORK STORAGE SERVICE
ABSTRACT
Nowadays, P2P (Peer-to-Peer) network es more and more popular,
and most applications are based on unstructured work. On the other
hand, with explosive increasement of data content in , people’s
demand for high-work storage service is rapidly rising. Rather than
unstructured work, structured work is naturally more suitable
to construct work storage system. Generally, these structured P2P
networks are based on DHT (Distributed Hash Table) and with the advantage
of good scalability.
This paper proposes Segment Storage System (S3): work storage
service based on work model, which providing high availability, high
reliability and high durability. In S3, files are divided into segments and
segments of one file are spread over several share nodes which are near in
network location. With some elegant schemes, S3 integrates segment indexing
and node addressing information. In S3, segment data are stored in DHT and
with some innovative and efficient routing method, it enables user to easily
