Joints of upper limb ()Department of the human anatomy attached to the Sichuan University Chen Daobang Sternoclavicular joint 1)Articular surface It is formed by the sternal end of the clavicle and sternum and 1st costal cartilage. 2)Capsule is attached to the margins of the articular surfaces. Sternoclavicular joint 3) Articular disc (fibrous cartilage ) divides the synovial joint into the partments. 4) Ligaments includes Ant. and Post. sternoclavicular lig., and costoclavicular lig. 5) To move in many directions flexibility 2. Shoulder joint Articular surface * Head of the humerus↔Glenoid cavity of the scapula * The head is larger and the fossa is shallower. * The glenoid labrum deepens the fossa (glenoid cavity) stability 关节盂唇 2. Shoulder joint 2) Capsule is attached medially to margin of the glenoid cavity, latterally to anatomical neck of the humerus. It is the thinner and relaxable松弛,special inferior wall of the capsule. 3). Lig. Glenohumeral lig. Coracohumeral lig. Coracoacromial lig. coracoacromial arch 喙肩弓 4) Tendon of long head of biceps brachii To pass through the intertubercular groove To pierce the capsule To end to the suproglenoid tubercle 盂肱韧带 喙肱韧带 喙肩韧带 5) Movements flexion / extension adduction / abduction rotation circumduction Musculotendinous (Rotator)cuff It is formed by the tendens of subscapularis, superaspinatus, inferaspinatus and teres minor. The musculotendinous cuff surrounds and protects the shoulder joint. But, at the inferior to the joint, there are no muscular tendons. Notice: At the inferior to the shoulder joint, *there are no lig. and **tendons of muscles. ***The inferior wall of the articular capsule is thinnest. So, the joint is easy to be dislocated inferiorly. joint(pound joint) Articulation * Trochlea of the humerus↔ Trochlear notch of the ulna *Head of the radius↔ Capitulum of the humerus * Head of the radius↔Radial notch of the ulna 肱尺部 肱桡部 尺桡部 复合关节
