摘要
随着 3G 网络的建设,用智能终端观看视频越来越流行。智能终端使用 DSP 解
码实现视频加速,但这却限制了视频文件的格式和编码方式。因此,需要更有效地
利用智能终端的硬件特性,优化程序,提升编解码性能来提供更好的用户体验。
视频编码以其高压缩比、良好的网络亲和性、成熟的算法研究成为
视频编码的首选,但其高压缩比也带来了很高的算法复杂度。智能终端大多采用
ARM 处理器,Cortex-A8 是基于最新体系结构 ARMv7 的应用处理器,引入了众多新
技术,包括 NEON 多媒体处理引擎。Cortex-A8 平台上的 解码优化研究,有着
广泛的应用前景。
通过对 解码流程和主要算法模块的研究,以及对 Cortex-A8 体系结构,包
括指令集、流水线结构、NEON 技术特性的分析,在评测 解码算法瓶颈的基
础上,结合对 Intel MMX 优化技术和 FFmpeg 中的 解码优化的研究,提出对
主要耗时模块如运动补偿模块、去块效应滤波模块、反变换反量化模块的算法并行
优化方案。
以 iPhone 3GS 作为测试环境,测试标准 Foreman、Akiyo、Mobile-calendar 视频
序列的解码性能。比较优化前后的整体性能变化,结果显示,对不同视频序列,优
化方案都有较大的性能提升。由于各算法模块在不同的视频序列里,复杂度百分比
不同,而运动补偿算法模块最适合并行优化,故不同的视频序列提升的幅度不同。

Abstract
Due to the construction of the 3rd generation munication, enjoying video on
intelligent terminals has e much popular. Those terminals use DSP to accelerate
video decoding, which limits video file formats and coding methods. Therefore, it is
necessary and meaningful to provide a better user experience by making full use of the
hardware features of intelligent terminals as well as improving the decoder performance.
is well known for its pression ratio, a work of affinity
and its maturation for coding research, which makes H264/AVC first choice for video
coding. But pression ratio brings a much plexity. ARM
processors are used on most of intelligent terminals, of which Cortex-A8 is the latest one
based on architecture ARMv7. Cortex-A8 brings in many new technologies, such as
NEON media processing engine. Optimization of decoder based on Cortex-A8
platform has a very promising future.
