Studies on the Quality Standard of Adenophorae Radix Speciality: Chinese Materia Medica Author: Zhao Jing Tutor: Zhang Yongqing Abstract OBJECTIVE: Adenophorae Radix is one of traditional medicines, but its quality standards has been inadequate . This study was designed to es tablish quality standards of Adenophorae Radi , to effectively improve the evaluation criteria level of quality of Adenophorae Radi . METHODS : According to the study purpose, conduc ted a literature review relating to the quality of Adenophorae Radxi . On this basis, targeted to carry out a more systematic experimental research work. Using of silica ge l column to study parts for various chemical constituents Adenophorae Radix ; established a more accurate TLC method of Adenophorae Radix ; using of HPLC to establish the determination of sucrose, glucose methods; 6 groups were determined sucrose, gl ucose, extract, moisture, ash, acid insoluble ash, heavy metals and pest icide residue content of Adenophorae Radix . The research work carried out and the achieved results of various studies for the development of the quality standards, to lay the necessary foundation for quality standards of Adenophorae Radix . RESULTS: Studies in the system is proposed based on a relatively sound quality standards for Adenophorae Radix (Draft), and the drafting of a detailed description. CONCLUSION: In this study to establ ish quality standards for Adenophorae Radix (Draft) pared with quality standards the current edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia, increasing of a more accurate TLC method of Adenophorae Radix ; heavy metals and pesticide inspection items, increasing of extrac t items, increased the determination of items to achieve a sound quality standards for Adenophorae Radix , improve the level of quality evaluation standard of Adenophorae Radix .
