Introduction
The primary task during the development of an oilfield is to determine the remaining oil saturation in internal or layer series of development.
To manage a reservoir efficiently, and enhance oil recovery, we must know the waterflood sweep areas, assess remaining or residual oil saturation, get actual fluid density, and identify zones that the injected water has bypassed.
To achieve this, the technology of monitoring reservoir remaining oil will play a key role in reservoir description and reservoir engineering.
