AB STRACT As information technology advances,the journal resource inlibrary increase resource’S traditionalsearching pattern not only brings ing down searching efficiency,but also reduces the information utilization the same time,the information island phenomena is more and more seriously because of resource’S inthiscondition,resource integration isespecially important and tothis,the articleanalyse and research resource integration,and try to provide a convenient,easy to use, powerful method forreader tosearchjournal resource inlibrary. The paper firstintroduces the research background and current development ofresourceintegration aswell on a summary ofthe defects of current research,the paper presents what it aims atand what itfocus on. After analyzing the feasibility ofjournal resource integration,the paper brings forward resource integration partten,principle and flame. Thorough analysis thejournal resource type and their metadata characteristic,we work outrationalintegration tacticsforunlike resource. The paper introduces several key technologies necessary torealize journal resource integration,including anization,OAI metadata harvesting,search agent,resource attempering,and researchdeeply their theory,structure,application rule,and SO on. 一thepaper detailedly discussesthe trainofthought,model,realization and it'seffectof resource integration,include theintegraion ofpapery journal base on library management system,application layerintegration base on searchagent,data layerintergration base on uniform metadata repository and correlation retrieval eachother. IV At last,thispaper sums up theresearch efforts,andpoints out the further research direction.
