Enlightenment of Confucius ’ Teaching and Learning Thought to Modern Teaching YAN Xia ( Xinyang Normal University Huarui College , Xinyang , He’ nan 464000 ) Abstract This paper discusses the connotation of teaching and learning , revealing its inspiration to modern teaching , including : establish the scientific philosophy of education; the use of appropriate teaching methods; promote teachers ’ professional development. According to these revelations , teachers and students in the actual teaching should be: mutual respect and mutual understanding; teachers should continue to enhance learning and research ability , good at listening to the views of students; students should take the initiative , play the main role , to promote to increase teaching effectiveness. Key words teaching and learning; modern teaching; Confucius 1 研究教学相长的必要性 新课程改革的迫切性“教学相长”是新课程改革的追求。新课程改革提出了一些新的教学理念和师生理念,对教学过程、教学理念以及师生之间应该建立怎样的关系等进行了新的解读和阐释。新课程的教育观明确提出, 在教学过程中不仅仅是教师一味地向学生灌输知识, 学生一味地行接受知识, 而是师生双方共同探讨、不断进行交流、互相学习从而达成教师和学生都能够获得提高的过程。而孔子的“教学相长”思想正是强调:教学就是一种教师和学生相互交流、不断进步与提高的过程。由此可以看出, “教学相长”思想不仅是新课程改革的理论支撑, 同时又成为新课程改革所追求的价值观。 教师专业发展的要求高素质的教师是社会发展的必需,而教师作为专业人员,从专业思想到专业知识、职业能力、职业心理素质是从幼稚到成熟的发展。但在这一阶段,教师应不断获取新的知识, 从而更好地完善自己。教师专业发展的方式包括职前教育、职业培训、岗位培训、自我教育等。教师的自我教育的自身建设是专业的, 它是教师个体专业发展的最直接和最常见的方式, 是树立职业理想、职业情感、专业技能发展的关键, 是教师专业风格形成
