Welcome to Qingyang
The city of Qingyang has got many titles in terms of folk Culture , and five of titles –Home of Sachet and Embrory, Home of Paper Carving ,Home of Yangko,Home of Dwelling Cave and Home of Shadow-were entiled by China Folklore 2002,three times of folk and Culture Festival were successfully held in Qingyang ,which formed a shining name card for the travel industry of Qingyang.
Qingyang folk art with its long history and different styles attracts interests of people both from home and abroad. Qingyang Paper Carving ,with rough ,simple ,and free sryle ,expressed the feelings of local is also a manifetation of local people’s life and a living fossil for resesrch in the culture of Zhou Dynadty.
There are other folk art styles such as shadow show ,Dongqing (a local opera with strong local feature),folk songs,stone carving ,wood carving ,zhizha (paper figures) and Mianhua (flower made of flour). They all are of great value in being appreciated , research and development.
Small kongtong tourist area
Xifeng small kongtong mountain, because pingliang kongtong mountain with origin relations, saying "sister mountain" named, and because of the mountain god immeasurable patriarch temple and the landform is phoenix lie nests and says threatened, lantau peak.
