摘 要
在世界人类文明的发展历程中，文字的出现是文明社会出现的标志，而文字要想发挥其传承人类文明的作用又要依赖于记文字的载体。我国古代历经了在甲骨上刻文、在青铜上铸字、以及简牍（竹简）成册和绢帛书卷等等漫长的进程，最终在东汉时蔡伦改进发明了最为简洁方便的文字载体——纸。纸与其他的古代所使用的文字载体相比较，具有无法比拟的优越性能。甚至可以说，纸张的出现是社会文明载体发展史上划时代的革命。
未经磨浆的纸浆浆料中含有非常多的纤维素。因为纤维又长又粗，其表面挺硬光滑而又富有弹性，纤维的表面积又小而缺乏结合性能，如果把未经磨浆的浆料用来直接抄纸，则在网上很难获得匀称的分布，成纸后也是疏松多孔，其表面也会粗糙并且容易起毛，而且结合强度非常低，纸张的性能非常差，因此不能满足使用。而经过磨浆处理的纸浆浆料所出产的纸，其组织紧密而均匀，有足够的强度，可以满足基本使用要求。所以，磨浆设备的作用就是使纸浆经过磨浆设备的处理后，使其纤维具有良好的可塑性和合理的尺寸，并且大大的提高了其细纤维之间的氢键结合力。另外，磨浆设备还能够使各种各样的原料、辅料、添加剂均匀的混合。
