濮阳位于河南的东北部，是河南的“东大门”，与山东的聊城、菏泽，河北的邯郸交界。濮阳的台前县和范县像条“金刚腿”伸入山东的腹地，按照行政区划，可谓是“边缘化”地带。
盛国民所说的“金刚腿”要踢出样子，主要是指在交通上下工夫。台前县将军渡黄河特大桥就是濮阳这条“金刚腿”的脚尖，这座大桥也是冀鲁豫铁路通道一个重要的控制工程。

It neighbors are 4 cities and 6 counties of Shandong Province to the East, South and North. Its boundary line is 125 kilometers long. So it’s called “Steel Leg kicked into Shandong Province”. The Total area of the county is 454 square kilometers. The county governs 9 villages and towns, 372 administrative villages, 380,000 people, 270,000 acres cultivated land.
