and是英语中一个极为普通而又最常用的连词，它在句子中有多种 意义，现举例谈一谈它的多种用法，以便与读者共探讨。
一、 表示并列或对称关系，其意为和、与、同、加、又
并、兼。如
He and I are friends. 我和他是朋友。
Tow amd there is five. 2 加 3 等于 5。
He is a stateman and 。
二、 表不连贯关系，意思是其后、然后、接着、于是、
就、便。如
She came in and sit 。

三、 表示连续与反复，即连接。如

四、 表示同时发生的动作，即一边 一边 。如
