摘要
中国现代文学史是由那些创作了不朽经典的大师们缔造的，而被称为人民艺术家的老舍在现代文学史上占据了一席之地。作为中国现代文学史的代表作家，老舍先生将批判锋芒直指市民社会。在其众多的文学作品中，《骆驼祥子》是一部不可忽视的经典。《骆驼祥子》是现代文学史上最优秀的长篇小说之一，也是老舍先生描写城市贫民悲剧命运的代表作。《骆驼祥子》主要讲述了祥子由一个淳朴的农民逐步转变为恶劣的小市民的悲剧。生活在特定年代的祥子，注定会抛弃农民身上优秀的品质被社会所同化。祥子悲剧的产生，既有旧社会旧制度的逼迫，也有婚姻家庭的破灭以及祥子本身的弊端。诸多原因交织在一起，造成了祥子的悲剧，将祥子从积极的个人主义堕落为个人主义的末路鬼的形象跃然纸上。
