Product Data React DOT 4 Low Temp Brake fluid DOT 4 Description Castrol React DOT 4 Low Temp is a high performing synthetic brake fluid based on glycol ethers and borate esters. It is suitable for use in modern braking systems incorporating electronic stability control systems. It's excellent low temperature viscosity characteristics help ensure smooth and controlled brake operation particularly in extreme conditions. Application Castrol React DOT 4 Low Temp brake fluid not only exhibits excellent high temperature performance, but is also formulated to provide improved low temperature perfomance. It h as been specially designed to have lower viscosity at low temperatures, mended by a number of vehicle manufacturers to assist with the speed and control of their electronic stability control systems (ESP and ABS). Hydraulic pressure generated in the brake system is used to apply the wheel brakes. Higher viscosity fluid results in slower pressure transmission and slower brake application. This new lower viscosity type fluid will therefore result in faster brake response times providing increased safety in icy conditions.
