浅析《芙蓉镇》中秦书田的人物形象
摘要：《芙蓉镇》以“芙蓉姐”胡玉音的悲欢遭际为主线，表现了特殊历史时期人民生活的升迁沉浮。书中的秦书田是芙蓉镇本地人，原为县剧团编导，因搜集流行于湘西民间的风俗歌舞《喜满堂》，被定性为反封建主题而打成“右派分子”，开除公职，解送回原籍交当地群众监督劳动。从此，秦书田就每每在圩场上露个面，有人讲他打草鞋卖，有人讲他捡地下的烟屁股吃。人人都喊他“秦癫子”。他多才多艺，热爱生活，对自己所从事的文艺事业充满激情，总是乐观地在夹缝中生存着，表面自轻自贱，玩世不恭，戏虐调侃，但是内心充满着苦闷，他要求做人的尊严，呼唤正常的生活，渴求幸福的爱情和家庭。在那个斗争的年代，秦书田的性格是复杂的、多重性的。作为知识分子的代表，他表现了一个非正常人的精神面貌和行为方式。

街面不算大的芙蓉镇里面，住着神态各异的人物，而且他们也熟悉着镇里的每个人物。特别是在那场政治风波之后，秦书田更是给人们带来强大的视觉冲击力和影响力。有人说秦书田是个“秦癫子”，有人说他是个“学问家”，也有人喊他“书田哥”等等，镇里的人们都众说纷纭。秦书田，在芙蓉镇中的不同群体里都展现着不一样的自我，以多重性格来丰满自己的形象,走着一条非比寻常的道路。
