摘要  本文通过对火山旅游资源的研究，厘定了火山资源、火山旅游资源、火山生态、火山文化等概念。在对火山旅游资源进行系统分类的基础上，分析了国外一些著名火山旅游胜地在开发火山旅游资源方面的成功经验，提出了发展火山生态文化旅游的理念，为国内火山旅游资源的开发利用，特别是火山地貌类国家地质公园的建设，可提供有益的借鉴。

0 前言
    火山是由火山喷发作用将地球深部物质喷出地表，并堆积所形成的具有特殊机构和形态的山体。火山喷发是一种自然现象，会给人类带来灾害，但这种灾害是一时的，也是有限的，而火山喷发给人类带来的财富却是巨大的。火山活动是创造自然财富的重要源泉，许多矿产资源的形成都与火山活动有关，大部分温泉、矿泉也伴随着火山出现，火山喷发出的大量火山灰因含有丰富的矿物质而成为肥沃的土壤，火山区千姿百态的自然景观，多样性的生态环境，深邃的民俗文化，更使之成为科学考察和旅游的胜地。世界上许多火山区，如美国的夏威夷，日本的富士山，意大利的维苏威，西班牙的兰萨若特，韩国的济州岛，印度尼西亚的巴里岛等都已建成了世界著名的旅游观光、度假与疗养胜地。
