“五帝时代”被称之为是中华民族的“英雄时代”，因为在这时，我们的祖先为了本民族的生存和发展，在与大自然和周边其他民族的斗争中，涌现出了一大批巨人般的英雄。今天的人们肯定要问，这一时代的英雄都是些什么样的英雄？那时侯的人们对他们面前的英雄怀着什么样的感情？这显然是些并非尽人皆知却又十分有趣的问题。对此，我们还是让古人来回答这个问题更好，古人说：
