宣传工作方面
在外参观考察的城市中，如湄潭将“茶文化”、遵义市将“红色旅游”作为城市发展的重头戏，这对广阔市民而言就是最广泛的宣传，他促使市民的日常行为注重标准自己，随时随地注意形象，为旅游事业做奉献，同时也在旅游业中受益，而我们在日常城市管理工作中处罚教育较多宣传较少，致使群众不明白我们做好城市管理工作的目的到底是为什么，一些执法队员也会降低工作积极性，影响我县城市管理工作。
执法工作方面
所到的城市市容市貌整洁有序，街面较少看到执法人员现场执法，匆匆的考察观看虽然不能说明什么问题，但也从中看出其执法工作多到后台，方式更加和谐，开展工作润物细无声。而我们平常工作中为更好的做好城市管理工作，较少注重形象，采取高声命令式执法，对一些不能理解的群众采取强制执法，引起路人围观，导致群众误解，随时将自身置于舆论的风口浪尖。
信息方面
其他城市的合理布局及协调美观店面招牌不仅展示了城市的魅力，同时也说明了其在城市管理有统一规划和标准，商家可以根据标准设计自己的店面，而我县的店面招牌在具体的标准过程中没有细化，标准要求的信息渠道不明确，容易导致店面招牌混乱，影响县城对外形象。
