检查衡拉杆胶套——无磨损、正常
检查底座及其部件——无变形、无松动、正常
检查悬挂装置和轮轴——无损坏、无松动、正常
检查转向系统——无损坏、无松动、正常
车轮和车胎——无变形、无磨损、正常
5、安装夹具：安装夹具时要将夹具调整手柄向上，尽量垂直于水平面安装，夹具四个爪定位平面要和轮辋外缘靠紧，须保证夹具爪定位面与轮辋边缘贴紧夹牢。
6、安装测量头：把测量头装在夹具上时，测量头与夹具之间要靠紧，不允许出现有间隙，测量头要按测量头上所贴的标牌位置准确的安装，拧紧夹具上的测量头固定螺丝，开启各测量头电源，使各测量头处于工作状态。
二、进行调整
1、系统设置：在系统中设有各种不同的单位，选择不同的单位，程序会自动对相关的数据进行单位转换。〔前束单位有mm、100分度、60分度；角度单位有100分度、60分度；转角有5度、8度、20度；系统功能有4轮、前轮；转角盘有电子转角盘、机械转角盘。〕设置时统一规定，前束单位使用60分度；角度单位使用60分度；转角选5度；系统功能选4轮；转角盘选机械转角盘。
