of rural drinking water sources, protection of drinking water sources in rural areas by the end of灵动，语言漂亮。他的语言有些王朔的味道，常常用很宏大的话语来描述一个很细小的事物，开始让人觉得大而无当，但仔细想来非常妙到。我印象里他的作品中写一位很漂亮的女同学，许多男生喜欢，但她谁都不理，写到这里时，郭敬明笔下就出现了这样的句子“一个战士倒下来，千万个战士冲上去”。就是用这种方式既写出了这位女生的矜持程度，又写出了众多男生的追求热度，这种铺张又夸张的用语，有他独特的感觉在里头。张悦然给我印象也不错，我看了她的《葵花走失在1890》，还有其他几个短篇，也是感觉很微妙，语言很到位，有着淡中见浓的文学品味。韩寒的作品，在《三重门》之后，越来越和文学没有太大的关系，他的作品主要是表达自己的一些叛逆性观念，比如对现行教育和现在的学校的体制性问题的系列批判等。

在这个座谈会上发言以后，许多人知道我在关注“80后”的写作，于是开始有人找我。在2004年初，以“80后”为主体的苹果树网站编选“80后”的作品集《我们，我们——80后的盛宴》，请我写序。打印稿有100多万字，收了76个作者的作品，我看了两个多月才大致看完。这些作者本身水平不一，编选者也未必把作者最有代表性的作品选了出来。但可以说，这个选本把“80后”中比较突出的作者差不多都一网打尽了。书出来以后，我们和中央电视台“读书时间”频道一起做了一期节目，请来各地共二三十位“80后”作者，在北京聚会了差不多一个星期。和他们有了更多的接触之后，我越发觉得这个现象很值得关注，而主流文坛、传统文坛并没有真正而切实地关注过他们。此时，在实际的书业市场上，他们的影响越来越大。北京的一个图书研究所在2003—2004年间做过一个市场调查，大概的情形是：中国现当代文学作品占文学类书市场的10％，而
