of rural drinking water sources, protection of drinking water sources in rural areas by th众的调查摸底，对于停水、停电的居民楼及时组织送水、送蜡烛，并协调相关部门对供水、供电进行抢修；为困难群众、低保对象489人发放救助金93870元，大米、油、猪肉等物资折合人民币45516元；共为1897户居民送生活用水16次、100余吨；积极做好灾后重建与发展工作，协助23家受灾企业解决有关困难，以最快速度恢复生产。四川汶川发生8级强烈地震,我办全体党员、干部、，缴纳特殊党费14720元。
街道积极推进便民利民综合服务。充分发挥便民利民党务政务综合服务（站）中心平台作用，设立为民服务全程代理、计划生育优质服务、低保、信访接待、邮政服务站等多个咨询和服务窗口，为居民提供便利快捷的服务，让居民不出社区就能办理好相关事项，真正做到“群众办事动嘴、干部代理跑腿”。累计受理证照代办服务、公共服务、生产生活服务、矛盾纠纷调处、咨询宣传服务等事项共计1345件，办结1312件；并于2008年6创建“艳山红街道办事处城乡就业促进中心”， 现已有286家企业进场，提供3498个岗位，受理1486人求职申请，成功推荐就业428名；2009年完成了所有充分就业社区的创建工作。
街道积极服务“三创一办”。创建国家卫生城市期间，组织党员先锋队7支400余人，参与取缔占道经营3230余起，门面延伸占道1890余起；清理“野广告”、残标、破旧横幅等4363处，清除居民区乱堆乱放2160处，清理小区绿化带种菜现象
