A total of 28 patients with soft tissue defects of the distal thumb were repaired with the neurovascular flap with dorsal branch of radial nerve. The area of soft tissue defect was 1． 5 cm × Results 1． 0 cm ~ 3． 5 cm × 3． 0 cm, designed flap area was 2． 0 cm × 1． 5 cm ~ 4． 0 cm × 3． 5 cm. All flaps and do- nor graft skin survived postoperatively. The blood circulation crisis occurred in 2 patients due to tight flap suture, the flaps survived after removing part of sutures intermittently. The incision healed in the first stage.
