II华中科技大学硕士学位论文Abstract As an effective tool for highway managers to extend their vision, video surveillance system plays an important role in reducing highway accident rate and improving traffic flow, it is an important guarantee for the healthy development of highway. However, due to the constraints of system resources, the video data transmission on work is not satisfactory with the data amount increasing, if the scheduling and control are not reasonable, network congestion and decline in the quality of service may happen, thus affecting the function of video surveillance system. In order to solve the above problems, this paper mainly researches how to use system resources more effectively, studies many problems such as fiber routing and multicast in the and puts forward a series of possible solutions. Firstly, the existing fiber-optic routing algorithms are introduced, in order to e their ings, a new criterion for evaluating link weight is proposed. Since the topology is different in work and work, different routing algorithms are designed in this thesis; Secondly, this thesis discusses the necessary to use multicast in the and analyses the existing multicast technologies, then uses IGMP Snooping technology to achieve multicast on data-link layer; Thirdly, a method of establishing high-priority channel is proposed, while the system doesn’t have enough resources to establish connections for high-level users, this method can recall some low-level users’ resources to meet the needs of high-level users; Finally, the proposed algorithm based on hop and load is simulated.
