and in the evaluation of your manuscript. I have been hoping to hear back from the Deputy
Editor with an update on your manuscript; unfortunately, I have as of yet not received one. It
may interest you to know that last week a report was sent to each of our Deputy Editors with a
list of all the manuscripts that they need to take action on, and yours was listed near the top of
the highest priority list. In addition to this, I will once again reach out to the Deputy Editor and
specifically request that action is taken soon on your file, along with asking for information that I
may be able to send you regarding when a decision may be expected.
