泱泱中华，礼仪之邦，道德传统，源远流长。敬老孝老，是中华民族的传统美德，是我们做人的本分。，敬老孝老事关千万家，连着你我他。善待今天的老人，就是善待明天的自己。
在我们的身边，有许许多多的长者，由于种种原因，没能得到应有的关心和关爱，内心充满了孤独，渴望子女、社会的关心和帮助！经济的迅速发展虽然给我们的生活带来了很多的便捷，但也将长者数量日益增长这个问题摆在我们面前，曾经“百行孝为先”，如今却需要将“常回家看看”写入老年法，靠法律手段来给予长者精神的慰藉。这是很值得我们深思的问题。
XXX社区响应团县委关于“关爱长者”的号召，通过专业社会工作者运用个案工作、小组活动、社区活动专业方法，为社区长者提供专业服务，使长者老有所养，老有所依，心中温暖如春，体会社会、社区的温情。
