I think Lora wants to work part-time for
these reasons. First , she can develop a sense
of independence while she earns her pocket
money. Second, it is helpful to learn to deal
with deferent people and overcome various difficulties in the workplace. What’s more, working part-time contributes to her understanding of her parents’ hard work.
But her parents have their worries about
working part-time. They hold the idea that
study should come first, so it is better for
Lora to focus on her study in this vacation.
Besides, personal safety may be another
concern.
As for me, I think Lora should have a talk
with her parents, letting them know she can
keep a balance between study and work.
Meanwhile it is quite necessary to tell her
parents how she will protect herself.
Hopefully Lora will have a nice vacation.
