着重在学生常规管理，学生评先评优，教职员工聘用、考核、评优评先等各项工作中落实语言文字工作目标。
㈡做好普通话知识宣传教育工作。
充分利用校园广播、校园网和校刊、黑板报等阵地宣传《国家通用语言文字法》等法规政策，设立专栏开展语言文字规范普及知识教育，学校橱窗、班级黑板报开辟 “辨析易读错字”专栏，定期展示易读错字供全校师生学习；在校园教学区设立宣传语言文字规范化标语牌，营造良好的校园氛围。
㈢做好教师普通话考核、培训工作。
把普通话列入教师继续教育的内容，将普通话考核合格作为新进教师的基本条件之一。在职教师的考核目标和要求是：教师普通话考核必须合格，必须达标，若不能达标，将视为不合格教师，不得参加教学评估，不得晋升专业技术职务，不得评优。对普通话测试不达标的教师学校安排培训、补测。
㈣注重日常渗透，开展系列活动。
1、组织好每年的“推普周”系列活动，如悬挂宣传横幅，张贴宣传标语，各班级举办手抄报，推普专题广播讲话等活动。
2、每学年开展普通话和用字规范化知识教育和普通话规范字基本功培训测试工作，以测促训，以训保质。
3、开展与语言文字工作有关的各种评比竞赛活动，进一步强化师生意识，提高素质。如开展钢笔字、粉笔字评比活动、诗文朗诵比赛、教师说课、讲课比赛等。
