Preparation of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene-based polyurethane
and its flame retardant properties

Abstract: Using HTPB, PPG, PCL and MDI as raw materials and DOPO as flame retardant, a hydroxyl-
terminated polybutadiene-based polyurethane was prepared, and its mechanical and flame retardant
properties were studied. The results show that with the increase of DOPO content, the mechanical and flame
retardant properties of polyurethane gradually improve. When the DOPO content is 10%, its hardness, tensile
strength and elastic modulus are Shore 92D, and , respectively. enhanced, the carbon
residue rate increased by %, and the heat release amount was suppressed by %. Molecular dynamics
simulation results show that DOPO increases its flame retardan
