Abstract: The formation mechanism of unknown salicylic acid in salicylic acid-free soap-based cosmetics was explored to provide
an important basis for the quality control of soap-based cosmetics. Based on the detection technologies such as high-performance
liquid chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, the causes of sustained-release salicylic acid in the product were
analyzed by means of testing the content and stability of salicylic acid in soap-based cosmetics and related raw materials, screening the
composition of raw materials, and simulating alkali
