自体脂肪注射隆胸是脂肪注射移植应用最多、效果最正确的临床应用之一。
回忆整个开展史，早期注射的数量较少，一般单侧乳房不超过30ml，每2周注射一次，由于注射次数过多，一般患者难以接受，于是逐渐增大单次注射量，最多每册乳房注射200ml/次，每2个月注射一次，经过观察疗效欠佳，一是早期出现硬结，其次，经过2个月的时间，注射的脂肪几乎全部被吸收。甚至我们在临床发现有一次单侧注射达400ml者，但是吸收率居然更高，几乎接近了100%，不过没有发现明显并发症。
近年来杨名在临床实践中采用的方法是每次每侧乳房注射量50-70ml，每两次注射间隔不少于1个月的方法，取得了非常满意的效果。轻度平胸的患者经过4-6次注射均可到达正常女性乳房的饱满度，而且无任何不良反响。
此法适用于平坦型或轻度下垂型的小乳畸形。手术前要全面检查乳房及腋下淋巴结，假设发现有肿块或淋巴结肿大，不宜进行乳房注射。
