I am very pleased to mend Miss Zhang, a graduate student at the Department of Geophysics, Peking University, to you for advanced study at your school.
I got to know Miss Zhang this March when I visited her advisor Prof. Li at Peking University. The main purpose of this visit was to collaborate on the heating and acceleration of the solar wind by Alfvenic fluctuations. We planed to incorporate the cascade effect of Alfvenic fluctuations and to solve the solar wind equations and the power spectrum equation of Alfvenic fluctuations simultaneously. I wrote a preliminary code during the one-week visit but it did not work. I had to leave the code to Miss Zhang and let her debug it when I left.
