端午龙舟竞渡民俗的文化选择

摘要: 端午节龙舟竞渡节俗之起因虽有各地的具体原因, 但其受到端午节早期节日性质的选择是确切存在的。龙
舟竞渡民俗以其逐恶驱疫之功能为端午节所接纳, 又以其游艺之潜在特性影响到整个节日的性质, 实现了其对节日文化
的选择。

On Culture Selection of the Custom of
Dragon Boat Racing in the Duanwu Festival

Abstract: It is indeed that the custom o f dr ag on bo at racing had been influenled by ear ly character
of the Duanw u festival , tho ug h its o rigin is different in differ ent ar eas. Because of the custo m's
function of ex pelling w ickedness and diseases , the custo m w as absor bed by the festival . Meanwhile,
the custo m also affected the festival char acter by its potential quality . So the custom brought abo ut its
selection to the festival culture.

著名学者尚秉和先生指出: “至清, 则以端午、《端午节的历史教育》两文中。
中秋与岁首并称三节。”[ 1] 而考其起源, 则亦由来尚其二, 祭祀水神、求雨说。说见台湾学者文宗一
矣。据《后汉书·礼仪志》等史料记载, 汉代就已流 1961 年所著《九歌中的水神和华南的龙舟赛神》一
行于五月五日举行各种固定的节日活动, 由此逐渐文。
形成一个影响广大而久远的传统大节。既为三大节其三, 探亲访友说。说见张建世 1988 年华夏出
之一, 其节俗活动自然就颇为繁多复杂, 而其中龙版社出版的《中国的龙舟与竞渡》一书。
舟竞渡民俗尤为引人注目。今试就这一节俗的形成其四, 人身供牺说。
