best known as his television, short story and best-selling novels.
His writing often focused on young people,
particularly in a collegiate setting.

Carlyle:
Thomas Carlyle(1795-1881), British historian
and essayist. He developed a peculiar style of his own which was called “Carlylese” which is pound of biblical phrases, colloquialisms, and his own coinges, arranged in unexpected sequences.
