摘要:世界上80%以上的信息是通过光纤传送的。光纤通信从研究到应用,发展非常迅速:技术上不断更新换代,通信能力传输速率与中继距离之积不断提高,应用范围不断扩大。光纤通信是现代通信网的主要传输手段。世界上光纤已经普遍采用,已成为通信网的基础。光纤技术也必定是支撑信息流通的最主要的手段。

Abstract: more than 80% of the world, information is transmitted through optical fibers. Optical munication from research to application, developed rapidly: the continuous upgrading of technology, communications relay transmission rate and increasing the product of the distance range of applications has expanded. Optical fiber technology must support the most important means of information flow.

光纤通信是以光波作为信息载体,以光纤作为传输媒介的一种通信方式。从原理上看,构成光纤通信的基本物质要素是光纤、光源和光检测器。
