1948 年，世界医协大会对希波克拉底誓言加以修改，定名为《日内
瓦宣言》。
准许我进入医业时：
我郑重地保证自己要奉献一切为人类服务。
我将要给我的师长应有的崇敬及感激；
我将要凭我的良心和尊严从事医业；
病人的健康应为我的首要的顾念：
我将要尊重所寄托给我的秘密；
我将要尽我的力量维护医业的荣誉和高尚的传统；
我的同业应视为我的手足；
我将不容许有任何宗教，国籍，种族，政见或地位的考虑
介于我的职责和病人间；
我将要尽可能地维护人的生命，自从受胎时起；
即使在威胁之下，我将不运用我的医学知识去违反人道。

I will maintainb y all means in my power, the honor and the
noble traditions of the medical profes sion;
My colleagues will be my broth ers:
I will not permit considerationso f religion, nationality, race,
party politics or social standing to intervene between my duty and
my patient;
