Chongqing, is a major city in central-western China. Administratively, it is one of the People‘s Republic of China’s four provincial-level municipalities(直辖市), and the only such municipality in western China. The municipality was created on 14 March 1997.(so,my fellow-villagers include students who e from sichuan and chongqing!)
Known as one of China‘s “Three Furnaces(火炉)" (along with Wuhan and Nanjing),
Widely acknowledged as the largest industrial and economic center in southwestern China, Chongqing City is a popular destination for travelers with its hilly slopes, rivers, night views and spicy food.
The main features of the downtown area are the hilly slopes. Travelers soon learn to get used to the feeling of going up and down, up and down.
2、CIQIKOU(磁器口)
It is a ancient town which has thousand years of history ! Situated on the bank of the Jia Ling River, not far from its confluence with the mighty Yangtze is the ancient village of Ci Qi Kou, formerly known as Long Yin(龙隐镇).
3、 Fairy_mountain
 (武隆仙女山)
Chongqing Wulong Scenic Area fairies, national geological parks, national forest park, is located in the eastern part of Chongqing武陵山脉, Pentium roaring "natural barrier" around the foot of the Wujiang from over.

4、Dazu Stone Carvings(重庆大足石刻)
The carving work began in late Tang Dynasty and saw its hey day in the Song are over 60,000 statues altogether and they are in 40 places of Dzau County.
