KAKUI,who was born in 1962 in HongKong, was the lead singer and the main member of the famous rock band--Beyond, at the same time , he acted as poser and the guitarist. He created many famous songs which had a great influence on the people of that times and even charactised the music style of Beyond in ten years between 1983 and 1993 before his accidental death.

KAKUI spent most of his time in outdoor activities when he was little, only heard some rock music in 1970s from his elder sister’s parties.
KAKUI did some jobs after he graduated from middle he was 17 years old,he got a wooden guitar from his neighbour, which was his first instrument in his life .

In 1985, the members of the band were relatively stable, including Ka Kui Wong,Steve Wong,Yip Sai Wing and Paul Wong.
As with other singers, Beyond wrote songs about personnal feelings, but the meanings of their poserss are to appeal to peace,care about our country,condemn war and the unfair world.
Famous songs
Beyond wrote many famous songs, for example,The glory days was written to praise nelson mandela, the black leader of South African ;the AMANI expressed the desire for a long-time peace after war,and tell people we must struggle for peace with our efforts.
KAKUI did not just care about the world and the suffering people with his songs ,but more with Beyond members'actual 1991, they went to Africa to do charity activities and did many things meaningful.
