The determination of the content of the DHA
Principle
Fatty acids in oils and fats unter the boron (tri)fluoride and methanol and sodium hydroxide , as a fatty acid methyl ester, the fatty acid methyl ester’s respondence on gas chromatograph hydrogen flame ionization detector linearly related with its existent amount. The content of variety of fatty acids can be calculated by the content of a variety of fatty acid methyl ester on chromatography.

Applicable to the determination of conventional content of DHA oil or powder.
