However, as the usage time increases, the corrosion of the steel pipe inside the steel pipe concrete members will significantly affect its mechanical properties, resulting in a deterioration of the bearing capacity. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the time-varying characteristics of corroded steel pipe concrete members. In this paper, a time-varying model of steel pipe concrete members is established by analyzing the causes and influencing factors of corrosion in steel pipe concrete structures, and the law of bearing capacity decay of steel pipe concrete members under corrosion is explored from two perspectives: theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The research results show that the time-varying model of steel pipe concrete members has a certain applicability, and the law of bearing capacity decay is closely related to factors such as the degree of corrosion and cross-sectional form. The theoretical basis and conclusions provided by the study have certain reference value for the construction and maintenance of steel pipe concrete members.
