The Norman conquest began in 1066 with the invasion of the kingdom of England by the troops of William, who was the duke of Normandy.
On one hand, Harald, the king of England, didn’t like associating with other countries including the Norman. He thought England was far away the Europe Continent and was able to get rid of battles.
On the other hand, many countries in the continent were longing for more lands. And Duke William desided to take the regality by force to conquer ([‘kɔŋkə] 征服)the England.
