特殊句式一:倒装(意义表达、结构需要)
完全倒装:整个谓语移至主语前面
以there, here, out , in , up , down, away, then, now 等副词开头 练习:The boys rushed out.
Out rushed the boys.
Your es now.
es your turn.
Eight years of the Anti Japanese War came then.
Then came 8 years of the Anti Japanese War.
注意:主语是人称代词时,主语和谓语语序不变。Here it is.Away he went.
1) Under a big tree ________, half asleep. A. did sat a fat man    B. a fat man sat C. did a fat man sat    D. sat a fat man
2) On the ground _____ a poor boy of sixteen. A. did lie B. laid C. did lay D. lay
2. 表地点状语的介词短语放在句首。
In front of the old houses lie / lies a small river.
On the wall hang / hangs a large map of China.
Above the top of the mountain appeared a rainbow
3. there be
用“存在”观念的其他不及物动词。如:live, stand, come, lie, flow, enter, exist, rise 和appear等。e / comes shouts for help from the river.There lie / lies a large field in front of the house.
部分倒装:
1. so + 助动词+主语
--- He has been to Beijing.
--- So he has and so have I .
neither/ nor + 助动词+主语The first one isn’t good, neither is the second.
注意:1)助动词与上文一致
2)倒装表示“…也一样”,不倒装表示“确实如此”。
--- Chairman Hu visited Shenzhen the other day.
--- _____________. (确实如此)
--- _____________. (李嘉诚也来了)
--- My father is a worker and doesn’t like drinking.
--- So it is with my father.
So he did.
So did Mr. Li.
so +形容词/副词+be/助动词/情态动词+that +从句。Light travels so fast that it is difficult for us to imagine its speed.
= So fast does light travel that it is difficult for us to imagine its speed.
The work was so easy that they finished it in a few days.
=So easy was the work that they finished it in a few days.
表语放在句首
Many young artists are attracted to the exhibition.
Attracted to the exhibition is / are many young artists.
Many experts are present at the meeting.
Present at the meeting is / are many experts.
The days are gone when we had to use foreign oil.
Gone are the days when we had to use foreign oil.
4. 否定副词not , never, seldom, nowhere, little , rarely 放于句首;Not only… but also…; Not until…
