Urban outer ring road is the product of the City Movement in the 20th century. Withits rise, the developed work is formed in the modern city. It includes thereconstruction of the existing old roads , and also the development in the new development zones. The ecological environment along the express way is destroyed. It influences the construction and the development of the city very much. Recently, the people’senvironmental awareness and aesthetic requirement is improving. The govement advocates the ecological city and garden city. Under this background, the series of the issues resulted in by the construction of the express way is brought to the attention of the society. So it puts forward higher requirements to the counstruction of the express way and the environment. Due to the restriction of lots of factors, the landscape planning in Urban outer ring road is a new subject in China. There is no systematic theory and perfect standards.
