Swat a fly
One day, when Chaplin was at a meeting ,a fly flew around him. At first ,he beat it with his hand. But it didn’t work. So he prepared a flyswatter posed for giving the fly a swat. He tried three times but the fly was still alive.
After a little time, a fly landed on the desk in front of Chaplin. He picked up the flyswatter and was ready to do a fatal blow. Suddenly, he put down the flyswatter and let the fly go away.
When people beside Chaplin asked him why, ” it wasn’t the first one”, edian said with a shrug of his shoulders .
When you walk on the road with a lot of cash, what will happen to you ? Chaplin told us you would meet a robber with his own
experience.
Outwitting the robber
When the masked robber threatened to him and asked him to hand over his money, he promised and said to the man:” please shoot my hat twice and I can make it clear to my master.” The robber did that as what he said.
Chaplin asked the robber shoot his lappet and trouser legs. After doing those, the robber became impatient. But Chaplin knew that there was no bullet in his gun. So he tripped up the man with his crutch and ran away.
