Shrek is the main protagonist of the films. He is a green ogre with a Scottish accent. He is married to Princess Fiona and fathers three ogre babies. Shrek is voiced by Mike Myers. Shrek is best friends with Donkey, but they often have falling outs.

Princess Fiona is the wife of Shrek and daughter of King Harold and Queen Lillian. She takes the form of an ogre when she realizes that Shrek is indeed her true love. She is the princess of Far, Far Away. Princess Fiona is voiced by Cameron Diaz (singing voice is provided by Renee Sands).

Puss in Boots is Shrek's friend and sidekick. He is a talking cat with a Spanish accent, and wears a hat, a belt with a sword, and little boots. Puss was originally an antagonist in Shrek 2 (his debut appearance), as well as Dragon from the first. He is voiced by Antonio Banderas. His style makes a little parody to Zorro.
